About

As your Psychotherapist, I want you to feel empowered to choose your most authentic life.

I know this is possible because I have experienced the very same process that I’m making available to you - I believe it can work and that you deserve it!

Research shows that the most important factor in therapeutic change is the relationship between therapist and client. Therefore, I aim to provide a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental environment where you can settle into the therapy process and begin your journey forward.

My therapeutic approach embraces your individuality.

You are uniquely YOU so integrative therapy takes into account YOUR emotions, thoughts, behaviours, physical sensations and the spiritual dimension of your life. It also incorporates the family, social, and work systems that impact your daily living so that the whole of your reality is incorporated in the process.

For optimum guidance, integrative approach also takes into account the many views of human functioning suggested by the psychodynamic, client-centred, behaviourist, cognitive, and family/systemic therapies. Our work together will also be guided by the latest research on neuropsychology, neurophysiology, and other evidence-based practices, which are selectively integrated to address your specific issues.

Qualifications:

I hold an MSc in Psychotherapy from DCU. My practice combines the traditional psychotherapeutic methods (Humanistic, Cognitive Behavioural, Psychodynamic, and Systemic) with evidenced-based inputs from neuropsychology as well as bodily/somatic interventions and breathing techniques. I am an Accredited Member of IACP, fully adhere to their Code of Ethics and am committed to regular supervision.
